Fertility clinic website mistakesSix changes we make to almost every IVF page.
These are the changes I make most often on fertility clinic websites, and why each one gets more patients to book. Each is shown on a generic mock-up. Clinic Name Fertility is not a real clinic. Coral marks the problem. Blue marks the fix.

The header does not let them call you.
Before
- The phone number lives on the Contact Us page, two clicks away.
- The only button says “Learn more”, not what happens next.
- On a phone, all of it folds behind one menu icon.
After
- The number sits in the header on every page, and dials when tapped.
- One next step, named for what it does.
- Hours beside the number, so they know someone will pick up.
What it costs to leave alone
A patient who has decided to call now has to go looking for the number. Some find it. Some go back to the search results and call the next clinic on the list.

The IVF page is about the clinic, not the treatment.
Before
Founded in [YEAR], Clinic Name Fertility has a long tradition of excellence. Our mission is to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care in a warm and welcoming environment where every patient is treated like family.
- The page is called IVF. The headline is about the clinic.
- The first paragraph is history and mission. The reader came with a question about treatment.
- Nothing says what IVF involves, who it suits, or what to do next.
After
- 1First consultation. Your history, tests and a plan.
- 2Stimulation and retrieval. Medication, monitoring, then collection.
- 3Transfer. Then the wait, and a test.
- The headline names the treatment and the question the reader came with.
- What happens, in order, in plain words.
- A next step, and a link to the question that usually comes next: cost.
What it costs to leave alone
Someone who searched for IVF reads about your building and your values, and leaves not knowing what happens next. Search engines read the same page and are not sure what it is about either.

The page never says what it costs.
Before
Every patient's journey is unique. Because treatment plans vary, we are unable to provide pricing online. Please contact our office to schedule a financial consultation with a member of our team.
We accept many insurance plans.
Contact Us- No figure, no range, not even what a consultation costs.
- “Many insurance plans” does not tell anyone whether theirs is one.
- The only way to find out is a form, and a wait.
After
- Real figures or honest ranges, line by line. Your numbers, not ours.
- Insurance answered as a promise to check, not a vague list.
- Financing one click away for those who need it.
What it costs to leave alone
Cost is usually the first question. When your page will not answer it, the patient asks a clinic whose page will.
Leak 04 of 06
The form asks eleven questions.
Before
- Eleven fields before anyone has said hello. Six are required.
- Insurance and member numbers belong on the first call, not the first click.
- “Submit” says nothing about what happens next, or when.
After
- Three fields. Everything else waits for the call.
- The button says what happens when they press it.
- It says when they will hear back.
What it costs to leave alone
Every extra field is a reason to stop. The people who give up halfway never show up anywhere. You never learn they tried.

Success claims, with no source.
Before
Our success rates are among the highest in the region, thanks to our cutting-edge laboratory and world-class team.
- A claim with no number, no year and no source.
- “Among the highest.” Compared with whom, measured how?
- Badges that assert results without showing any.
After
We report every cycle to the national registry. You can see our results by age group, beside the national figures, in the published report.
Results vary with age and diagnosis. Your doctor will talk through the figures that apply to you.
Page updated [DATE]- Every claim points to a named source and a reporting year.
- It says plainly that results depend on age and diagnosis.
- A date, so the reader knows the page is kept current.
What it costs to leave alone
An unsourced claim reads as marketing. The patients you most want are the ones who check, and they discount the whole page when they cannot.

No named clinician, no review date.
Before
Starting IVF can feel overwhelming. In this post we walk you through each stage of the process, from your first injections to your embryo transfer, so you know what to expect.
- A medical article written by “Admin”.
- No date written, no date reviewed. The reader cannot tell if it is current.
- “Our team of experts.” Not one of them is named.
After
A cycle has four stages. Here is what happens in each one, how long it usually takes, and what you will need to do.
- A named clinician, with their role, wrote or approved it.
- When it was reviewed, and when it will be reviewed again.
- A short author note that links to a full profile.
What it costs to leave alone
Health pages with no named author and no review date are harder to trust, for patients and for search engines alike. The article does the work and gets none of the credit.
Why this is a teardown and not a case study
Fertility Growth Agency is new. There are no client results to show yet, and a new agency showing you case studies is showing you someone else's work or inventing its own. So instead of proof we do not have, this is the reasoning you can check for yourself. Open your own site next to it and count how many of the six apply.
When there are results worth showing, they will appear here as case studies with real numbers and a named clinic that agreed to be named. Not before.
