Call tracking and attribution for fertility clinics
Every consultation traced to the search, page and campaign that produced it, in one dashboard.
Most clinics can say what they spent last month. Far fewer can say which consultations it produced. Without that, every decision about the marketing is a guess — including the decision about whether to keep paying for it.
The work, in practice
Call tracking installed
Distinct numbers by channel — and most fertility enquiries are phone enquiries, so without this you are blind to the majority of your pipeline.
Enquiry tracking
Source, campaign and page recorded with every submission.
Close the loop to consultation
So cost per consultation is a measured number rather than an estimate.
Consent that actually gates the tags
Most clinics with a cookie banner still load the advertising tags behind it, so the choice is offered after the fact. We hold the tags until the visitor answers, and keep the record that they did.
One monthly report
What worked, what did not, what changes next. Plain language, one page.
What we usually find first
- One phone number across every channel, so nothing can be attributed
- Form enquiries arriving with no source recorded
- Analytics installed but never configured to record an enquiry
- Advertising tags firing before the visitor has agreed to anything, including on the treatment pages
- No link between an enquiry and whether it became a consultation
- Reporting on impressions and clicks because the real numbers are not available
The free website plan checks your site for each of these and tells you which ones apply.
Cost per booked consultation, by channel and by campaign.
Everything else — rankings, impressions, click-through — is a diagnostic that explains that number. Useful for working out what to change. Not a substitute for the number itself.
Tracking and attribution: common questions
What is call tracking, and do fertility clinics need it?
Call tracking shows a different phone number by source, so each call can be traced to the ad, search or page that produced it. Most fertility enquiries start with a phone call, so without it most of your pipeline is invisible.
Is tracking compatible with patient privacy?
It has to be. Tracking records where an enquiry came from, not anything medical. Advertising tags wait for consent, and nothing about a person's health is sent to an ad platform.
What does the monthly report show?
One page: what was spent, how many enquiries and booked consultations it produced by channel, what worked, what did not, and what changes next.
