Fertility clinic website assessment and revamp
A site that books consultations: fast on a phone, a page for every treatment, cost answered, a short form. Built from the site you already have.
You already have a website. The problem is almost never that it needs replacing — it is that it was built to look right, not to be found and to convert. So we assess it and rebuild the parts that are costing you patients, rather than selling you a rebuild you do not need.
The work, in practice
Assess before touching anything
A full crawl and speed measurement of the existing site, so changes are made against findings rather than taste.
A real page per treatment
IVF, IUI, egg freezing and donor cycles are four different decisions by four different patients. Each gets a page written for that decision.
Fix the conversion basics
Tappable phone number, short form, cost answered on the page, one obvious next step.
Rebuild for speed
Images, scripts and layout shift. The site has to be fast on a phone on mobile data at eleven at night, because that is when it is read.
Usable on the phone it is read on
Not just fast. No sideways scrolling, tap targets big enough to hit, text big enough to read, and form fields a screen reader can name — someone using one currently reaches your enquiry form and is told "edit text".
What we usually find first
- One "Treatments" page covering IVF, IUI, egg freezing and donor cycles at once
- Cost not mentioned anywhere, so the visitor leaves to find it elsewhere
- Slow on mobile, which is where nearly all of this reading happens
- Sideways scrolling, buttons too small to hit, text too small to read on a phone
- An eleven-field enquiry form and no tappable phone number
- Form fields with no label a screen reader can name
- Page structure search engines cannot make sense of
The free website plan checks your site for each of these and tells you which ones apply.
Enquiries per visit, and how many of those become booked consultations.
Everything else — rankings, impressions, click-through — is a diagnostic that explains that number. Useful for working out what to change. Not a substitute for the number itself.
Website assessment and revamp: common questions
Do we need a brand new fertility clinic website?
Usually not. Most clinic sites have a sound base and a handful of specific problems: one page doing the job of four treatment pages, cost never answered, a long form, slow on a phone. We fix those first. A full rebuild only makes sense when the platform itself is the problem, and the audit will say so if it is.
How long does a website revamp take?
It depends on the size of the site and what the audit finds. The conversion basics (the phone number, the form, cost on the page) usually come first, because they are quick and they matter most. Treatment pages follow one at a time, so nothing goes offline while the work happens.
Which platforms do you work on?
Most clinic sites run on WordPress, and that is fine. We work on the site where it lives, and you keep ownership of the platform, the domain and the hosting throughout.
